แผ่นตะแกรง Hexagon Sifter Screen ที่ออกแบบช่องเปิดเป็นรูปหกเหลี่ยม ช่วยเพิ่มพื้นที่เปิดของตะแกรงและลดแรงต้านการไหลของผลิตภัณฑ์ โดยยังคงความแข็งแรงของโครงสร้าง สามารถใช้ทดแทนแผ่นตะแกรงรูวงกลมแบบเดิมได้โดยตรง จากการทดสอบด้วยแป้งสาลีขาว โดยใช้ตะแกรงขนาด 3 มิลลิเมตร พบว่าตะแกรงรูปหกเหลี่ยมรองรับการผลิตเฉลี่ย 19,338 กิโลกรัมต่อชั่วโมง เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 14 เมื่อเทียบกับตะแกรงรูวงกลมที่รองรับได้ 16,567 กิโลกรัม/ชั่วโมง ภายใต้สภาวะการทำงานเดียวกัน จึงนับเป็นโซลูชันที่ตอบโจทย์กระบวนการร่อนแป้งในอุตสาหกรรมอาหารได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

The Gericke Hexagon Sifter Screen features hexagonal apertures that increase open area and reduce flow resistance while maintaining structural integrity. Designed as a direct replacement for conventional circular-hole screens, it offers increased processing capacity without requiring a larger machine. In trials using plain white flour and a 3 mm screen, the hexagonal design achieved an average throughput of 19,338 kg/h, a 14% increase over the 16,567 kg/h achieved with a conventional circular-hole screen under identical operating conditions. It is suitable for flour sifting in food processing applications.
