กัญชา เป็นพืชที่ได้รับการกล่าวถึงอย่างมากในปัจจุบัน กัญชามีประโยชน์ทางการแพทย์ในการรักษาโรคต่างๆ ได้ เนื่องจากมีสารสำคัญอยู่ 2 ชนิด ที่มีประโยชน์ทางการรักษาและนำมาใช้ใด้ คือ CBD (Cannabidiol) และ THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) ซึ่งอยู่ใน ใบ และ น้ำมันกัญชาที่สกัดได้จากดอกกัญชา โดยหน่วยงานวิจัยหลายแห่งทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน ต่างให้ความสนใจในการศึกษาวิจัยพืชกัญชา และนำองค์ประกอบต่างๆ ของพืชกัญชามาทำการสกัด วิเคราะห์ และแปรรูป เพื่อให้ได้สาร 2 ตัวที่กล่าวถึงข้างต้น และนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ในด้านการแพทย์ต่อไป

Cannabis, an increasingly popular plant, boasts multiple medicinal properties thanks to two major active compounds that can be used for treatments of diseases; CBD (Cannabidiol) and THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). These substances are found in cannabis leaves and oil obtained from the inflorescences. Both private and public research centers are focusing on the research on the extraction, analysis, and processing of this plant and its relevant parts in order to obtain the two aforementioned active compounds for medicinal application and purposes. 

Some of the must-have tools that can assist in various lab processes for cannabis, such as raw material preparation, compound extraction, compound separation, and preparation of extracted substances for subsequent qualitative and quantitative analyses by more advanced equipment.
